Archery Program at State Park Offers Families Unique Learning Experience
WESLACO – It’s a summer activity with a point.
Some had never held a bow and arrow before they enrolled in the archery program at Estero Llano Grande State Park in Weslaco.
Jose Uribe, the natural resource specialist at the park, says the program started about three years ago.
It all started as an Eagle Scout project to raise money for the equipment and canopy.
The archery program will run until September.
