16-Year-Old Suspect Arrested in Donna Fatal Stabbing Arraigned
UPDATE (1/14): The 16-year-old suspect was arraigned Monday accused of killing a 69-year-old man.
Sheriff Eddie Guerra says investigators determined the juvenile broke through the window of Pollos Veracruz Restaurant at the intersection of Alberta and Val Verde in Donna.
He says the suspect was trying to rob the place early Sunday morning. That's when he allegedly stabbed a man several times with a knife.
He also stabbed a 21-year-old, who is in critical condition.

DONNA - A 16-year-old is now in custody in connection to a fatal stabbing Sunday in Donna.
Sheriff Eddie Guerra said the teen is expected to be charged with capital murder and criminal attempted murder.
The suspect is accused of stabbing 69-year-old Arturo Hernandez at the corner of Val Verde and Alberta Road.
One other victim remains in critical condition.
Hidalgo County Sheriff's deputies are no longer seeking any additional suspects at this time.
