STARR COUNTY- A man remains in critical condition following a shooting near Rio Grande City.
It happened around 3:00 Sunday morning, in the Lito Garza subdivision, on the North side of U.S. 83.
31-year-old Gonzalo Elizondo told authorities he was shot in the left arm, hip and thigh.
Elizondo identified his cousin, 31-year-old Ivan Zamora, as the alleged shooter.
He remains on-the-run.
The motive behind the shooting is unknown.
