MCALLEN, Texas - The McAllen Fierce 13U volleyball squad are heading to Las Vegas to compete in the 2021 USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship.

Fierce are coming off one of the most impressive feats any AAU team in the valley accomplished in recent history.

Earlier this month they competed in Orlando, FL against 147 other 13U teams at the AAU Girls Volleyball Nationals. Fierce dominated with a 12-0 record on their way to winning first place.

It's a team so talented three of them were named as 13U Classic All Americans.

64 teams are competing this week in Vegas.

A strong run here could be the perfect cap to an already impressive season.
