The Los Fresnos Falcons are gearing up for a matchup at the Alamodome on Saturday in the area round.

The Falcons are coming off a win over Economedes in the bi-district round. The victory clinched the first 10-win season for the program since 2008.

Now, the team is staring down a matchup with the Buda Johnson Jaguars for the area championship.

The Jaguars took down Laredo United last week as the four seed out of their district.

"I don't feel a single person, coach, player is satisfied." Falcons head coach David Cantu said of his team's mindset this week. "To represent the Valley, represent Los Fresnos, move on to the third round would be an amazing thing."
