ELSA – A couple is now charged in the death of their 2-month-old daughter.

According to Elsa Police Chief Primitivo Rodriguez, they received a call last week about a baby being sent to Knapp Medical Center.

The hospital reached out to police after the baby was placed on life support.

The couple is now charged with capital murder. No bond was set for the parents.

Child Protective Services is also investigating the case.
