A vehicle with the Rio Grande City Grulla Independent School District was recovered after it was stolen early Wednesday morning, according to district police chief Hugo Garcia.
District police responded to the break-in at Grulla High School Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 6:15 a.m. that caused property damage and the theft of a school van, Garcia said.
No students or faculty were present at the time, Garcia added.
The van was recovered later that morning with a flat tire, Garcia said. A person of interest was identified, but Garcia couldn't provide details on their identity.
