The McAllen Police Department is investigating after a two-vehicle collision closed a portion of one of the city’s busiest streets.

McAllen police officers responded to the 1300 block of East Nolana Ave. in response to the crash. People from both vehicles were transported to local hospitals, according to department spokeswoman Officer Olivia Lopez.

McColl Road to Jackson Road on Nolana Avenue are currently closed due to the accident.
