Rio Grande City is ready to take District 16-5A by a storm under new Head Coach Abel Gonzalez.

Gonzalez joins the Rattlers after coaching La Grulla Gators for 13 years and is excited to get this program up and running with two key players competing for that starting quarterback position.

"Both of them have a great relationship and that's important." Head Coach Abel Gonzalez said. "They want this program to be successful so they push each other."
