PHARR – A manager at an RV resort in Pharr says they’re no longer receiving city services.
A road expansion which was supposed to make things easier for residents left a community in constant fear.
When June’s heavy storms hit, the Texas Trails RV Resort Manager, Larry Sims, had to rent out three pumps to remove the floodwater.
Sims explains the problem is the resort is not hooked up to the city’s drainage system.
"All these residents that live here year around pay city taxes and we expect city services for those taxes,” says Sims.
KRGV’s John Paul Barajas reached out to Pharr Public Works Director Ricardo Pedraza to find a solution.
