WESLACO – The Department of Public Safety announced road closures ahead of scheduled services for State Trooper Moises Sanchez.

On Friday, at 11 a.m., DPS will close the southbound frontage lanes, along Expressway 281, from Trenton to Owassa roads.

Additionally, the northbound frontage lanes from Owassa Road to the Bert Ogden Arena will be closed.

Following the service at the arena, at 2 p.m. Friday, all lanes on southbound Expressway 281 will close from Trenton Road to the Pharr interchange.

The closure will continue onto westbound Expressway 83 from the interchange in Pharr to Conway Avenue in Mission.
