Man Charged with Capital Murder in Alton Double Homicide Receives $2M Bond
ALTON – A 22-year-old man in a double homicide investigation out of Alton was arraigned Monday.
Oscar Armando Velasquez is charged with three counts of attempted murder and one count of capital murder.
Velasquez was named as a suspect in the shooting deaths of Carlos Perez and Eduardo Rodriguez.
A third person who was also shot survived.
The shooting happened Nov. 8 at a home on Jefferson Street.
Investigators say the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute.
The judge set his bond at $2 million.
