Judge Refuses to File Injunction on Proposed Ordinance in Edinburg
EDINBURG – A district judge has refused to file an injunction on a proposed city of Edinburg ordinance.
The proposed rule would change how city council meetings are held. Those against the proposal said it’s unconstitutional because it would violate citizens’ right to free speech.

Judge Noe Gonzalez said the lawsuit against the proposal seems premature.
He said if the ordinance passes, he’ll welcome both sides back to court.
