A major two-vehicle crash caused injuries on State Highway 186 and FM 1425 in Willacy County Saturday night, according to the Willacy County Sheriff's Office. 

First responders are on location. 

Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area. 

Traffic is being diverted, the sheriff's office said.
