MISSION – A 25-year-old man in the country illegally who was shot by a homeowner in Mission has now been charged.
Daniel Leon-Gutierrez was shot by a 72-year-old Mission homeowner last month.
Police say Leon and a group of immigrants were trying to evade Border Patrol custody when they trespassed onto the homeowner’s property.
