DONNA – The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide south of Donna Lake.
Investigators are on the scene east of Valley View Road in a sugarcane field.
They identified the victim as a 19-year-old local high school student shot multiple times, according to the Sheriff's Office. The body was discovered by a field worker along the road.
No word on any possible suspects.
