MCALLEN – Former Judge Rudy Delgado wants his trial moved closer to home.

He was indicted by a Houston grand jury earlier this year.

Delgado’s attorneys questioned that decision and requested a change in venue.

On Friday, they filed an amendment which explains conducting the trial in Houston would mean Delgado “will suffer significant harm”.
