The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a deadly crash near Harlingen.

Two vehicles appeared to have caught fire Tuesday on South Ed Carey Drive, near the Las Palomas Wildlife Management area.

DPS confirmed one person has died in the crash, but their identity has not been released.
