The city of Elsa is accepting applications for a police captain.

According to a social media post, the position supports the chief of police and is the overall management and administration of the police department. The job position is directly responsible for the supervision and operation of the criminal investigation division, patrol division, and the department's communications division.

Officials say the position will remain open until filled.
