EDINBURG – A bond reduction for an Alamo teenager accused of killing his friend.
Bond was lowered for 17-year-old Carlos Julian Contreras from $1 million to $250,000. He’s accused of killing a Donna high school student, 18-year-old Genaro Isaiah Castillo.
Castillo’s body was discovered Jan. 14 near Donna Lake.
Authorities said the two friends were arguing over money.
