ALAMO – A manhole is causing a concern for an Alamo man.

Alamo resident Clemento Vela says it’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurt from the manhole in front of his house.

He says there is no sidewalk and school children and pedestrians walk on the road with the dangerous manhole.

"I was really concerned about these kids walking across and one of them falling inside the manhole," says Vela.

KRGV’s Christian von Preysing contacted the Alamo city manager, Luciano Ozuna, about the problem.

Within an hour, a crew was seen working to fix the manhole.
