MERCEDES — Founded in 1999, PYC Restaurant serves authentic Mexican food with a twist.
“I starting liking the food and creating stuff. So, some of the stuff here, you might not be able to find in other restaurants, because it’s something I’ve put together,” said Juan Salazar, the owner.
Salazar serves up chicken, ribs, fajitas and his signature charro beans.
The restaurant is located at 7720 North FM 1015 in Mercedes. It’s open Monday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
