"It's a weather stripping you put on your windows and doors and that creates a seal on doors and windows that helps keep the heat in and the cold out," McCoy's Building Materials Manager Raul Lopez said.
Remember to keep these tips in mind if you plan on using a space heater. Always plug it into a wall outlet, never an extension cord. Also, keep it at least three feet away from anything flammable.
