US Citizen Arrested following Multi-City Pursuit

MCALLEN – Authorities released more information on a multi-city chase that ended inside La Plaza Mall with the driver’s arrest.
According to a criminal complaint, surveillance cameras alerted Border Patrol agents of activity along El Faro Road in Los Ebanos. It states a man was seen getting into an SUV and fleeing from the area.
The driver made it to the mall in McAllen where he ditched the vehicle and ran inside. Three other people were found inside the SUV.
The main suspect, a U.S. citizen, remains behind bars.
