SAN JUAN – Young students and adults from San Juan came together with paint brushes in hand to clean up the graffiti in their city.
With their own police escort, the volunteers met one early Saturday morning eager to help to cover up graffiti.
So, how did so many know when and where to show up?
The city asked for volunteers to join the cleanup effort through Facebook and posting up flyers throughout San Juan.
The group went from place to place. The graffiti is not limited to one location. They scouted the city beforehand.
The city provided the paint and most of the hardware needed.
