NEAR BROWNSVILLE – LNG’s proposal to invest millions at the Port of Brownsville is one step closer to getting a federal approval.
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission took public comments on two of the three LNG projects, the Rio Grande LNG and Texas LNG.
The agency completed a document showing the impact those projects would have in the Rio Grande Valley’s wildlife, tourism and air quality among other things.
After collecting public comments, the FERC will complete what they call a final environmental impact statement, which is expected to be finalized in April.
If you still want to give your input, visit the FERC’s website.
