New Security Measures at Cameron Co. Park to Prevent Crime

RIO HONDO – More security will soon be added to a community park in Cameron County.
Adolph Thomae Jr. County Park is popular with boaters and fishermen and provides easy access to the Arroyo Colorado and eventually the Gulf of Mexico.
Authorities say it also attracts smugglers for the same reason.
About $500,000 worth of surveillance upgrades will be installed.
