MCALLEN – The Mexican consulates in McAllen and Brownsville say they will open their doors so Mexican nationals can obtain a voter ID card.
Saturday, March 31 is the last day to register to vote in Mexico’s presidential election.
The election is scheduled for July 1.
To apply, Mexican nationals need the following:
- A birth certificate
- Identification card with a photo ID
- Proof of residence, like mailed bills
Both locations will be open from 8 a.m. Saturday to midnight.
