McAllen Water Outage to Make Repairs In Effect

MCALLEN – The McAllen Public Utility notified customers of a planned water outage.

The outage is scheduled for Thursday night starting at 7:30 to 5:00 a.m.

The affected areas include Nolana to Redbud between 2nd and 4th streets. There will be 150 customers that will be without service.

Crews are currently repairing water valves that were identified during a water audit. The valves are critical to the proper isolation of the system.

MPU will be changing two valves at Nolana and 4th St. and changing one valve and installing a new main valve at Nolana and 2nd St.
