Edcouch city manager discusses FBI raid at city hall

The Edcouch city manager spoke exclusively to Channel 5 News the day after the FBI raided his home and the city hall.
Edcouch City Manager Victor Hugo De La Cruz spoke following the Thursday city commissioners’ meeting, the first one held since the FBI raided those locations — as well as the home of the assistant city manager.

“I think right now, a lot of what's going on has to do with the game rooms,” De La Cruz said. “…but at the end of the day, we had an ordinance."
Edcouch Mayor Virginio Gonzalez said in a statement that the city is fully cooperating with the FBI in their investigation.
