The city of Escobares unveiled their new logo.
The city held a contest for a new logo design back in January, and they recently announced the winner as 17-year-old Alejandro Salazar.
Salazar is a junior at Roma High School, and he said one of the best things about his win was his father's reaction.
"He told me this was the beginning of great things for me," Salazar said. "I was so incredibly happy to have won, and I'm so thrilled to have been chosen."
The new logo will now be featured on city property, and Salazar will also be granted a $1,000 college scholarship.
