Free ultrasounds will soon be available for pregnant women in Brownsville through the Life and Family Pregnancy Center.
The center, located at 504 E Levee St., offers free counseling and educational classes to women during and after pregnancy.
“Also, we will give them baby things, like diapers and things that they are going to need,” Life and Family Pregnancy Center Executive Director Claudia Krauss said. “And if they like our program, they can apply to be here."
The free ultrasounds will be available through a partnership with the McAllen Pregnancy Center starting on Friday, Feb. 23.
