Brownsville Man Sentenced for Murder Granted New Trial

BROWNSVILLE – A Brownsville man sentenced to 30 years for murder was granted a new trial on Friday.

Antonio Santos is accused of strangling his wife in October of 1998.

The Texas 13th District Court of Appeals granted him the new trial based on a jury charge error.
