PALMVIEW – A home burglary attempt by a teen ended with a shooting.
It happened at a home off of Ricardo Avenue and North Shuerbach Road in Palmview; investigators even closed off one of the roads shortly after the incident.
Palmview Police Lieutenant Arnold Sepulveda says police first got a call of burglary and then for gunshots.
According to police, the 19-year-old went into the home and was shot by the homeowner.
The suspect is in stable condition at this time.
KRGV’s Angelo Vargas spoke with a neighbor who approached investigators wanting more information.
