Sarah Cervera

Sarah Cervera was born and raised on the Southside of San Antonio, Texas.

She now calls the Rio Grande Valley her home.

Sarah had a year-long internship with KSAT 12 ABC San Antonio where she learned what it takes to gather sources, write scripts and meet tight deadlines. She graduated from Texas A&M University-San Antonio summa cum laude on full ride scholarship.

Sarah was inspired to become a journalist after her Nana would watch the news every day and read the San Antonio Express Newspaper to improve her English.

For Sarah, reporting is a way to connect with her community and tell the stories that impact them the most.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
