The Willacy County Sheriff's Office is investigating a workplace accident at a windmill site in Lyford after a worker was electrocuted on the job. 

The unidentified man did not survive. 

The sheriff's office posted on their Facebook page that the accident occurred in the area of FM 1018 and FM 507.

In Cameron County, a workplace accident was reported at the Port of Brownsville. 

According to the Brownsville Fire Department, a worker at an industrial site had his legs run over by a forklift at the Port of Brownsville. 

The man was hospitalized with severe injuries to both legs.

Channel 5 News reached out to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, to see if they're involved in the investigations into the incidents.
