DONNA - The wife of a homeowner who shot a man who works for a repossession company Tuesday is speaking out about the incident.
She claims a repossession man came to pick up a shed on their property when her husband grabbed his gun and fired warning shots.
She says she felt her husband thought the repossession man was trespassing and that is why the situation escalated.
"I’ve been calling the police department and asking them to come please and take my report and they just refuse to," she says.
Police say the investigation has been handed over to the Texas Rangers.
The wife says she plans to call the sheriff’s department to find out if there is anything they can do to help the situation.
