Weslaco's Sadie Romero signed her letter of intent to Our Lady of the Lake University track & field. Romero is a district champion and area champion in the 400-meter run. She placed 6th at regionals, also taking home academic all-state honors. 

"It feels really good. All the hard work, tears, sweat, everything paid off and all of that was worth it for this moment," said Romero.
