WESLACO – Oftentimes, if you’re in a crash, you are going to be at the disposal of the officers trying to clear the roadway.
In the matter of an instant, on Friday, Johnathan Bulnes lost control on the road and rear-ended another vehicle.
He says a state trooper had to call in I2 or Ito’s Mechanic Shop from Donna to get his car off the road.
Bulnes couldn’t believe the bill he received for his car being towed 10 miles.
CHANNEL 5 NEWS found out the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation gives wreckers broad authority to charge as much as they want, as long as the charges are related to actual towing.
