The Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas Military Department will host its weekly media briefing Thursday to discuss the progress of Operation Lone Star.

DPS South Texas Regional Media Lt. Christopher Olivarez and a representative from TMD will provide an update on the steel wall TMD is implementing, according to a news release.
