EDINBURG – A Mission-based bail bondsman will have to pay up to $50,000 in a bond forfeiture case.
The case stems from the arrest of Omar Guerrero, a former Hidalgo County Clerk, who failed to show up in court in October 2013 after making bond.
Arnoldo Corpus with Corpus Bonds posted the bond but was unable to get Guerrero to show up in court.
On Tuesday, a jury decided to hold Corpus responsible.
