ALAMO – It’s described as being the first national wildlife refuge in the Rio Grande Valley.
Last month, the Santa Ana Wildlife Refuge celebrated its 75th anniversary.
The refuge has evolved. Each year thousands visit to walk the trials, ride bikes and growing in popularity are the kayaks.
