BROWNSVILLE - The UIL State Swimming and Diving Championships have made a significant change for the 2017 competition.  For the first time ever, not only the Regional champion in each event qualifies, but the runner-up in each event, too.  That change made the 6A regional in Brownsville and the 5A regional in Corpus Christi more than winner take all events.  CHANNEL 5's Brandon Ortega has the rundown on the athletes who will still be training next week.
