MISSION – A Rio Grande Valley priest is concerned a pending border wall could interfere with worship.
Father Roy Snipes, known as the Cowboy Priest, is a priest at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
The church makes visits on a regular basis to their grandmother church, La Lomita Chapel.
He’s worried the potential border wall will cut off a chapel used as a place of worship.
"It seems like the craziness of the world is invading our sanctuary," says Snipes.
KRGV’s John Paul Barajas explains the Diocese of Brownsville is fighting the issue by saying it violates the first amendment.
