Valley Cyclists Set to Ride for Special Cause to San Antonio
MISSION – In two weeks, a group of Rio Grande Valley cyclists will be riding their bikes all the way up to San Antonio.
It’s 250 miles, takes to two days and it’s in the middle of the hot Texas summer sun.
The ride organizer, Casey Swanson, says the Spina Bifida Foundation of Texas helped him and his wife with their daughter, Susana, when she was born with Spina Bifida.
He says he took his gratitude of the foundation and his passion of cycling to create the event.
