EDINBURG – Another Texas Department of Transportation project in the Rio Grande Valley is just about set.
Officials are still in the design phase, but the state is holding meetings across the Valley to have people point out what they want to see in a future highway.
TxDOT is proposing for a new highway to be constructed across the Valley.
Based on predicted needs and current demands, the agency sees people will need to get from Edinburg to Harlingen and in between areas north of the current expressway.
The next meeting will be at Santa Rosa Elementary School in Santa Rosa from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
