With just one district win since 2020, it hasn't been an easy few years for the Lopez Lobos.

This season, the team is feeling confident that there's reason to believe success in on the horizon.

"When we started it was 10 seniors two years in a row. Now we've got 20," Lopez head coach Shaun Tarantola said. "Those 20 have been on the lowest of lows and they've had to stick it out and I give them credit for seeing that light at the end of the tunnel."

Brownsville Lopez starts the season on August 30th against Juarez-Lincoln.
