Tiger Cub Rescued by Border Patrol Now on Display at Brownsville Zoo
BROWNSVILLE – The tiger cub that was rescued by Border Patrol last week is now in a display area at the Gladys Porter Zoo.
Visitors will now be able to see the tiger in the small world area.
Zoo veterinarian Thomas Demaar says the tiger will be watched over for the next few months and then transferred to a sanctuary.
Border Patrol agents originally found the cub in a duffel bag near the border.
