Survivor of Starr County helicopter crash continues to recover, family says
The sole survivor of a Friday helicopter crash in Starr County that killed two National Guard members and a Border Patrol agent continues to recover, his family said.
Jacob Pratt is recovering from multiple broken bones and is still on a ventilator, his family said in a GoFundMe page.

Pratt, a National Guardsman aircraft crew chief, was in a National Guard UH-72 Lakota light utility helicopter that went down near La Grulla, killing fellow Army National Guard soldiers Casey Frankoski and John Grassia.
Christopher Luna, a Valley Border Patrol agent, was also identified as a victim of the crash.
The helicopter that came down was the same model the National Guard recently grounded following two fatal crashes that occurred last month.
An Army National Guard spokesperson told Channel 5 News the chopper involved in the Starr County crash was not grounded because it was on federal orders, and was not assigned to a state guard.
Pratt's family said doctors hope to get him off of the ventilator later this week.
