State's Power Grid Holding Out Through Extreme Heat
WESLACO – The American Electric Power company is encouraging customers to reduce their energy use.
They hope the efforts will allow the state’s power grid to hold out through the summer.
Over the last few years, South Texas got an improvement to the power grid, which runs from Laredo to Corpus Christi to the Rio Grande Valley.
